Manage associated parties
After creating an appraisal, you can associate parties. An associated party is any other person or business with an interest in the property, such as a Remainderman who may inherit it. You can create an associated party of any type.
Prerequisites
Edit Appraisals permission is required to manage appraisal details.
Add associated parties
You can add any type of third parties to an appraisal.
- Go to the appropriate appraisal.
- On the Associated Parties panel, select Add.
- For Associated Party Type, select an association type from the drop-down list.
- For Type, select either Person or Business.
Some fields change depending on the Type. - Populate the fields.
- For a Person, First Name and Last Name are required.
- For a Business, Business Name is required.
- If desired, enter Address, Additional Contact Information, or a Note.
- Select Create Associated Party.
The associated party displays in the Associated Parties panel.
Tip: Select the arrow next to the associated party's name to expand the panel and view Address and Additional Contact Information.

Edit or delete an associated party
From an appraisal, you can edit or delete an associated party.
- Go to the appropriate appraisal.
- On the Associated Parties panel, locate the party.
- To edit information: Select Edit, adjust the information, and select Save.
- To delete an owner: Select the Delete icon, then select Yes to confirm.
The edited information displays in the Associated Parties panel.
